ENDODONTIST
E JACKSON THREET, DMD, MSD
Dr. Threet is an endodontist, a dentist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the pulp and periapical tissues. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Plant Biology from the University of Tennessee before pursuing his dental education at the University of New England, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Following dental school, he completed a General Dental Practice Residency and a certificate in Oral Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center, where he gained interdisciplinary clinical training in the care of medically compromised patients, along with the diagnosis and management of oromucosal lesions and orofacial pain. During his residency, he received the Lester Burket Resident Research Award in Oral Medicine, and his research, which was part of the larger OraRad Study, was published. He then completed his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) with a specialty certificate in Endodontics at Case Western Reserve University.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine and is board eligible with the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Threet is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered endodontic care. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Threet teaches part-time at the Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine.
He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Academy of Oral Medicine, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
